Default MultiVex Mirrors

http://www.multivexmirror.net/

A popular choice for ST1300 owners; MultiVex makes a product which fits over the OEM mirror and is secured with double sided tape. The MultiVex mirror provides a wider viewing angle.

Do the Multivex mirrors NEED the old glass mirror in place to be fittted or can they be used to replace, eh, slightly bent 'stock glass'?

<don't ask>

Thanks

Andy

Andy,

Sorry this has taken so long to answer but to answer your question, I placed the Multivex mirrors over my existing mirrors as per the installation instructions. They stick over the existing mirror(s) to create a built-in blind spot mirror.

To get an answer about using the Multivex mirrors as direct replacements, call or email electricalconnection.com they should be able to direct you.

I have to admit that they took about a day to get use to being from the center of the mirror outward it is a convex lens and the center inward they are normal. But they provide the best behind an peripheral vision I have ever seen and they are easy to get use too. In the top three farkles I installed on my bike.
