Joe,
I have tried to contact Marcel July about the under mirror screen but have NOT received any response from him!!! Any suggestions? I can't even find out the cost or availability of the shield. His mail box is full and other folks have complained about him. Any word??

Sorry, I don't have a clue to how to get a hold of him.

Have you tried posting a PM here on the forum to him?

I'm new to this forum and it seems like the V-Stream is the answer to my problems. I need a shield I can look over, I can't (read won't) ride a bike looking thru plexiglass or whatever. I'm 6-6'1" and the stock shield bounces my head around like a ping pong ball. If I put it all the way up no bouncing, but the wind noise is wild. I also get a wind draft behind me. Passengers are of no concern as I ride alone. Anyone my size and preferences try one of these and have it reduce noise for them. I also wouldn't want to reduce mileage by too much. It seems this sheild has worked for most folks, so I'd just like to confirm it'll work for someone my size. Thanks for any help/info.

I'm 6'1" and have been riding behind a V-Stream for several thousand miles. It's much better than the OEM as far as protection and noise. I look over mine with it up from the lowest position. It won't go as low as the OEM, but will go lower than I need to keep it at chin level. I didn't notice a reduction in mileage.

Slightly over 5' 11" and had the VStream for 20000 km. Would not go back to the original.

Pros: Better air "pocket" around the driver: no more back draft that pushes you forward at higher speeds like the OEM, less noise, good resistance to scratches.

Cons: at highway speeds you feel your front end a bit loose in dirty air i.e following semis, campers etc.

Other than that, I would recommend it.
