Default Cee Baileys vs Aeroflow (well sort of)

I bought the bike with Aeroflow touring shield Link (minus the plastic insert as I found out here) anyway Its a great windshield, but living in New England means riding in sweating weather
also I have a trip to Colorado coming up in late July so I made a decision to get something shorter, to cool my head
I had Cee baileys before so I went with their sport shield (dark tint) Link

so far I just mount it today and maybe sometime in few days I'll take a ride to see the difference.

Sorry for crappy photos but my camera busted out on me and new has now show up yet, so crappy phone photos for now.

Aeroflow all the way down

and all the way up

both together

Cee Baileys all the way down

and all the way up

that's all for now

When you get a chance to test it out at highway speeds, please let us know how the head buffeting is or is not.

Looks nice.

Temporary Hijack.

Anyone running the Cee Bailey headlight protector?
Any idea how it compares to the Aeroflow?

Hijack #2

I currently am running what I think to be a very early test version of the sport shield. 18 inch tall and custom cut width (by me) to get it to fit with the mirror deflectors. Very dark smoked. It was a one off custom made when purchased by a former forum member, no return. I bought it because I thought the 03 & 07 models just cried out for the dark shield and it was short. I gave up a long time ago trying to get the airflow over my head so I went shorter. I had it when the 07 came out so it is now as much as 8 years old and starting to show it's age, clean the bugs off and it's taken some hits. It has the vent and I'm not sure I would do the vent again, I put a pigeon through the vent hole at arrestable speed once, messy.

Am I not bright enough to find it or is there no information on the sport shield?

I assume it is 20 inches tall & 13.5 inches wide?

Paul

Sorry I got a Little lazy and did this in paint but you can see what it is
and its about 12" or so at the top

its also made to fit the mirror deflectors (which I'm thinking on getting as well)

I'm sorry. Did not mean to imply your info was lacking.
I should have put in the post that I was having trouble finding information on the Cee Bailey site about the sport shield.

Thanks for the measurements.

If you ride in the rain or get caught in rain more than a few times the mirror deflectors are worth the price. They also move the airflow just enough to allow for a lighter glove heading into winter/early spring when your winter glove is too much but the summer glove could stand another layer.
