I just ordered a set of the highway blades from motorcyclelarry website. Very pricey but I like the way they integrate into the body when not in use.

I tried these on my Vtx. They were to far away to do me any good, and I was always scrapping the ground with them and if I left them out when I parked I would catch my shin on them and the ends are sharp
I also tried them on my Shadow, but I put them on backwards and used them as stirrups. This put my feet about an inch above the road but was the most comfortable riding position on this bike

I have them, but I must admit I'm not all that impressed.

They're not really adjustable, and when out, they're out a bit too far for me. They seem to push my legs away from the bike - and I just want them forward. I'd like to be able to adjust the amount of "out-ness" they have, but the only way seems to be to drill, and I don't really want to modify too much.
